Never nind the rain – the snowdrops were fantastic!

On Sunday some hardy MHWI members braved the weather and took part in the Snowdrop Walk in the historic village of Ashley. Tickets included a map to some of the village gardens opened to visitors for the day as well as a lovely (and warming!) cup of soup and a roll served up by volunteers in the church.

The snowdrops made a great show and at least some of us had a severe case of ‘garden envy’! Our walk ended with a hot cup of coffee from the fully stocked cake buffet back at the church. Thank you for a nice afternoon out – we’ll be back next time
