AGM Afternoon Update

Sorry for the delay in updating you on the happenings in the afternoon.  It was as emotional as the morning, particularly for me, as I managed to find the courage to stand up and challenge the resolution process!  I will update you at our next meeting.

What I will tell you now is that I have been supported whole-heartedly by members of all ages.  I will continue to urge for change of this process.

The food waste resolution was passed.  Then we had a sing song for the Queen’s birthday.

The WI is what you make of it, whether this is at local, federation or national level.

Gildings night, 22 June

If your name was picked out of the hat, don’t forget to bring along your item on 22nd June.

If possible, please send a photo of the piece to Vicky by the end of next week (17 June) and she can share it with Mr Gilding – he’d like the chance to do some background research if he can!
