Book ‘Angels’ meets tonight!

Don’t forget Book ‘Angels’ is meeting tonight, Monday, 12th November 2018 at 8pm – a week earlier this month!

We will be at our usual location in the downstairs bar of The Angel Hotel, High Street, Market Harborough.

Tonight we will be discussing the ‘Maid’s Room’ by Fiona Mitchell.    A gripping tale about Filipino maids working in an expat community in Singapore.   Based on real life observations and interviews.   No doubt, discussions will be accompanied by some liquid refreshments!

Look out for further posts about our Christmas meeting on Monday, 17th December 2018 (venue to be confirmed).   For a bit of light relief during the busy Christmas period, we have decided to read a  Children’s or Teen fiction book, or a favourite book from childhood!

Meet author Louise Jensen at Book Club this evening

All MHWI members who have read The Gift by Louise Jensen are warmly welcomed to come along this evening to the Book Club in the top lounge in the Angel Hotel, High Street, Market Harborough, 7.30 to 9.30 pm.  Louise will be joining us to discuss her book.   Don’t worry if you haven’t quite finished the book, still come.

Author, Louise Jensen, will be joining MHWI Book Club members at their next meeting on Monday, 3 April at 7.30 pm at the Angel Hotel.  Louise will be discussing her latest book, ‘The Gift’.  All MHWI members interested in reading this book and coming along for the evening are warmly welcomed.  Let’s make this a great evening.
