First hobby night success
‘I really enjoyed the first hobby night meeting, starting to make the bunting and having a chat. Thanks all,’ says MHWI member, Tansy Tilly.
‘We thought it would be fun to make/ accessorise the mice at the next hobby night, Thurs March 3rd. The knitting can be started ready for stuffing at the meeting, or little accessories got together to decorate if you prefer, or just turn up and do what you fancy on the night.’
We look forward to seeing the finished mice for sale at our craft fair in the Old Grammar School on Saturday 16 April.
Tansy has shared the instructions, too. Instructions for little knitted mouse

Sarah Trappitt, Committee Hobby Night Co-ordinator, says, “We’ll start making the bunting for our Craft Fair in April and talking about what we want hobby meetings to look like in the future. We look forward to welcoming everyone on the 4th.”

Brilliant Bollywood night!
Bollywood was a huge, knockout success as you will see from the photos: members, old and new and guests, all taking part. Amazing, too, was the Asian food supplied by local bakers, Wesses.
Make a flag for our new bunting
At the monthly meeting tomorrow, pick up a bunting template. You can use this to make your own unique flag for our new bunting to be on display at our Craft Fair at the Old Grammar School on Saturday 16 April 2016.
Colours are to follow the pastel themes on the bunting flags on our 2016 programme leaflet. There must be a back and front to each flag. Eighteen people will also be given black letters (to be attached as you wish) so that we can spell out ‘Market Harborough WI.’
