Craft club tonight – try and taste tea blending
It’s a great chance to have a go at blending and tasting your own teas. Gemma is leading tonight’s session. The sun is shining and, hopefully, here to stay for the summer. However, on opening this month’s flyers there’s one on a Christmas Market trip to Chatsworth and an art competition with a closing date of February 2018! Wednesday evening’s monthly meeting
- For June’s social, can monies please be brought to Wednesday’s meeting. This will be a fab trip aboard the ‘Vagabond II’ from Foxton to Smeeton Westerby – approx. 2 hr 20mins. Friday 9th June at 7.00pm (PEOPLE MUST GET THERE BY 6.45PM AT THE LATEST). £10 pp (£5 child). Bring a picnic if you’d like! Please see Evanda for any queries
- Bring a pen and any shaped biscuit cutters with you for the craft session, too.
Paint Pottle – perfect!
What a lovely social this month! Ten of us went to the paint pottle and had a thoroughly enjoyable time! We learnt the ‘dotting’ technique for out little bowls and Claire, the owner and host, was a superb teacher! Going to plan another evening as extremely therapeutic!

These colourful boxes were made by the Craft Club last night.
New members always welcome. The Club meets at 7 pm, first Thursday of each month, in the Congregational Church.

Book your place for Paint Pottle!
Next social is at the Paint Pottle! Come and spend the evening on Wed 17 May at 7.00pm – approx. 10.00pm learning the “dotting” technique on a 14cm ceramic bowl.
