Would you like to be a Committee member but are not too sure what it’s all about? Or, maybe if you can’t commit to being on the Committee all year you could help out with specific events? If so, do come along to our Committee meeting this evening at 7.30 pm at The Roebuck on Rockingham Road, Market Harborough (behind the Tesco garage). Come along and spend a relaxed evenings with fellow MHWI members.
There are various roles to fill from our September annual meeting: President and Vice President (without which MHWI cannot continue), as well as help with the Secretary’s role, Website/Social Media and Refreshments.
We’re looking for those who would like to be more involved with MHWI whether it be ad hoc or on an ongoing basis.
With the AGM looming we have two must fill positions to keep our WI running. President and Vice President. These roles can be shared if you don’t fancy taking it on alone but must be filled for our WI to keep running.
There are also other roles, including website/social media and refreshments co-ordinators, and help with the secretary’s role..
For more information Contact us or attend our next meeting at The Roebuck, Market Harborough, August 16th @ 7.30pm.
Another memorable annual meeting, celebrating MHWI’s fifth, successful year. Clare reminded us of everything we achieved since September 2015, Treasurer, Val, bringing us up to date with our financial position. Clare thanked all Committee members for their support, especially so to Patsy Tracey who has been our Membership Secretary since MHWI was set up.
Clare has been a brilliant President, leading us in her own inimitable way before she reluctantly stepped down last night. It all became a little eleventh hourish with no one stepping up. However, we are delighted to welcome Vicky Watts on board as our new President.
Clare Farquhar, outgoing President, receiving flowers from Carmen Wilson, Secretarial Support and Vice President
Patsy Tracey, outoing Membership Secretary for the past 5 years, with her thank you flowers
