Help with NFWI’s ‘More Midwives’ campaign – NFWI have partnered with the
National Childbirth Trust (NCT) to survey the maternity experiences of women
who have recently given birth in England and Wales. The survey is open to women
who have given birth in 2014 or later.
I would appreciate if you would share the following link to the survey with your
Responses to the survey will inform how NHS maternity reforms are implemented
in the future. The survey closes on 6 May

topics: you can congratulate the Queen on her 90th birthday: Queen’s Birthday Book on Facebook (page 1 of newsletter), whilst writers among you may like to reflect on what they have learned from their lifer and enter a 500 page letter (and photos) to your younger self for the Denman Cup by 5 August (page 4) and crafters can check out WI blogs and workshops (page 6).

Check out the latest events planned across the county: beginners’ crochet, lunch club, faith visit are just a few. How about getting together with several other MHWI members and representing us at a Federation quiz in early July? Foxton WI host Federation quiz

MHWI is supporting WI Sports Week, 12 to 18 September 2016 – Your Committee have so many ideas, you will be spoilt for choice (and super fit, too). Following the theme of ‘bigger and bolder’ we will have lots of evening and weekend activities for you to try – watch this space for further details. Hoola hooping and zumba are on the cards!
