MHWI is hosting this year’s event on behalf of the Welland Group of WIs,
so put Thursday 8 December 2016, 7 pm on your calendar. All members very welcome. The service will be held at our monthly meeting venue, the Congregational Church. Details to follow nearer the time.
Fun ideas needed
Thinking caps on ladies! If you have ideas of fun things you would like to do as part of our social programme in 2017, then please speak to a committee member at our monthly meeting on Wednesday. Your Committee are keen that we put on activities that people really want to do. All help to help organise one off events would be most welcome, too. Birmingham trip cost update
It is confirmed that the cost for each seat is £10 per person, to include the educational trip to the Jewellery Quarter Museum, plus tea and biscuits. Apologies for any confusion!
Charles Hanson coming to MHWI

Almost sold out – Birmingham trip
Jewellery Quarter Museum, Birmingham
There are just a few spaces left on our Christmas Shopping Trip to Birmingham – Saturday 19 November 2016 – £10 for the bus. Family and friends welcome. On arrival in Birmingham there will be an optional, WI exclusive, morning tour of the Jewellery Quarter museum (£10 to include tea and cake). Maybe book a matinee in the afternoon or start your Christmas shopping? Bus will be at the market entrance on Northampton Road, Market Harborough at 8.30 am ready for a 9 am departure. Coach will leave Birmingham at 6 pm.

Denman voucher winners
Well done to Clare Farquhar, outgoing President, and visitor, Rachel Dodds, who each won a £200 voucher towards a course at Denman College. We look forward to hearing what you book and some pictures of what you did. Oh, and Rachel, we hope you enjoyed last night and will be signing up as a member very soon!
We will also be donating a £100 towards Denman College (proceeds from the raffle and a little bit more!).
