Our speaker tomorrow, the 23rd, is our friendly, retired-police-officer who will be delivering humorous anecdotes from his time in the force. We just hope none of us feature in his tales! Guaranteed a laugh.

For those going on the Birmingham trip this Saturday, please be outside the Market entrance on Northampton Road, Market Harborough at 8.30 am ready for a 9 am departure. The coach will drop us off at the Jewellery Quarter Museum for a WI exclusive tour, with light refreshments afterwards. We will then be picked up and driven to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre where the rest of the day is yours to do as you wish. We will be picked up from the Bull Ring at 6 pm.

This is one of our major fund raising events for the year. At the moment we are short of raffle prizes. We urgently need your help to collect some more donations. Our November raffle will have the theme of ‘homemade’. It can be something you made or something someone else has made by hand, any item, even food such as jam. It could be something for Christmas. If you bring a prize, you will receive a raffle ticket ensuring you get a prize yourself to take home. Get making now!
