WI November Social – Live Music in support of Mo’ket Harborough
Several members of Market Harborough WI are actively supporting the Movember men’s health money raising event (you recall seeing the men around you growing moustaches for the month and asking you to sponsor them?) and you are warmly invited to this social, taking place this Friday, 7 November
Our new president, Clare Farquhar, adds, ‘Funky Mo brooches are on sale at Duncan Murray Wines. Made by your crafty president. So please support me and the Movember charity and maybe grab a bottle of Mo’vember Ale or Two Birds gin. Great charity event being supported by fantastic local contributors.’
Invitation to WI carol service
Are you free on Monday 1st December at 7 pm? If so, you are invited to join other local WIs at Little Bowden Church, Rectory Lane, LE16 8AS for a carol service. There will be light refreshments following the service.

Bramley apple fallings for freezing, jams and chutneys

Centenary Barn Dance – can you help?
To celebrate the Centenary of the WI, Market Harborough WI is planning a barn dance on Saturday 26 September 2015. It will be open to friends and family. Beads and birds galore!
Last night saw Sharon Moore of Rainbow Beads, Loughborough bring a beautiful selection of coloured beads, in all shapes and sizes, to help members make their own coil bracelet.
Sharon was supported by family
members, including her mum, and proudly displayed a whole range of jewellery they had made between them. Her mum specialises in the colourful jewellery for children. Sharon makes many of the unique decorations for necklaces herself.
